Central Finland - by bus
Travelling by bus is a comfortable and quick way to get around in Finland. The buses are new, spacious and well-equipped, and you as passenger can just relax and enjoy the scenery.
In Jyväskylä, the long-distance buses arrive at and depart from the Travel Centre (Hannikaisenkatu 20). You can take a bus from the Travel Centre to locations in Central Finland and further.
The city buses' main stops are a short walking distance from the Travel Centre.

Coming from Helsinki?
The long-distance buses depart from the Kamppi Central Bus Station, floor 1 below street level.
Helsinki airport -> Kamppi Central Bus Station:
- Finnair City Bus or local bus number 615 -> Helsinki Central Railway Station -> Metro from Central Railway Station stop (Rautatientori) -> Kamppi (first stop west after Rautatientori).
- Some long-distance buses depart directly from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
