Skilled and highly educated work force

Central Finland's work force is highly educated, with two thirds of local labor being in possession of a degree. Jyväskylä is known as an international and multicultural center of higher education. The University of Jyväskylä, JAMK University of Applied Sciences and the Jyväskylä Vocational College are situated locally and provide both expertise and a fertile source of talent.

All of the educational institutes are actively involved in raising the competitive level of both the region and its businesses. Close collaboration between educational institutes and businesses is taken as a natural foundation for new entrepreneurial activity in Jyväskylä.

From these educational institutions graduate a lot of labour force who are ready to meet the challenges offered by the wide range of businesses. Skilful labour force is also available for production, development of the testing systems and for testing.
